Cymphony raises $30M to close the access gaps AI is already finding

From tools to work

One of the biggest lessons I have learned from a customer is the difference between capabilities and value. A company adopts another flashy scanner and the CISO says “I have another flashlight on a problem I can’t solve”. Is the objective to identify each data piece in the organization or to identify the risky access and reduce it?

One of our early customers has a top-notch security stack, and as soon as they connected ChatGPT to SharePoint, every intern in the company could query documents from an incredibly sensitive litigation process because of an honest mistake by an intern in legal.

This is also the customer that told me “I want to shift the conversation from tools to actual work.” — which shapes the way we build Cymphony.
